We are thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature on our platform: the Personal API for community members! This update empowers users to seamlessly submit activity drafts through the API, streamlining their workflow and enhancing their experience with our platform.
What’s New?
With the Personal API, program members can:
- Programmatically submit activity drafts without using the platform’s UI.
- Integrate their workflows with our system, making reporting more efficient.
- Automate submissions and manage drafts in the Advocu platform with ease.
We understand that program members are often part of vibrant developer communities and deeply value automation and seamless workflows. We also recognize that many activities, such as publishing new podcast episodes or blog articles, happen on a regular cadence. That's why we've introduced this API, to help you easily submit drafts of these recurring activities and keep your contributions flowing smoothly.
How It Works
Once an activity is submitted via the API, it will be stored as a draft. At this stage, the draft awaits review and additional customization. Members can:
- Review the submitted drafts.
- Fill in any required custom fields.
- Approve and finalize the activity for publication.
This process ensures that all activities align with community standards while providing users with a smooth and efficient way to contribute.
